Mun is 30+ years old & low activity   I write for a living, am a new mom, and create original work in my free time, so there’s not a ton of time left for roleplay. You can call me CC!   This blog is mutuals only.   I only write threads with mutuals for my own sanity. For any blog, canon or not, I am considered selective. I’ll always take a look at your writing. If I can see the potential for our muses to interact, I’ll likely follow you! That said, please note that I do not feel comfortable writing with self-inserts.   I am unlikely to follow:   Animal centric blogs (in which the characters are talking/humanoid animals such as MLP or Loony Toons) or Pokémon blogs. I have nothing particularly against them, I just don’t have much interest in writing in those kind of universes. If you have something specific in mind, though, you can always reach out and I’ll let you know if it sounds like something I could be interested in!   I struggle with duplicate muse plots.   However! I have a LOZ multi-muse blog at FragmentedLegends that I would love to interact with you on! If you have ideas for Zelda as well, feel free to toss them at me.  I like a relaxed and respectful dash.   If I see a lot of call out posts, vague blogging, or otherwise negative posts, I may not follow or unfollow. This includes following basic RP etiquette such as no dragging others interpretations or claiming your interpretations are superior and/or canon when there is no official claim for it. I will soft block so that you unfollow me as well.

Hylia outside of LOZ threads:   AU’s outside of the series domain will feature Hylia as the believed Goddess of the Triforce religion, but whether She’s “real” or not will be up to the readers/characters.  This is a multi-ship, multi-verse blog.   Assume that your Universe with Zelda is separate from any threads I have with others unless we have agreed otherwise!  Formatting is simple & icons optional.   For RL muses, I use Emilia Clarke as Zelda’s face claim. I operate completely on mobile and so can not cut posts on my end. Posts that are not cut on my partners end will hide reblogs and only show my reply so as to not clog my dash.  Zelda’s age depends on the verse.   Her age will always be timeline and subject appropriate. I will not change her age for canon events. If you prefer to only have your adult muse interact with other adults, our threads will always be post-BOTW.
  I am a literate roleplayer.
I tend to write novella style. For longer posts I use the tag “long post cw”, so please block that tag if you don’t want long posts on your dash! That said, I never expect you to match length. So long as we are both keeping the story moving, I’m happy!  I RP based on inspiration.   Replies may be out of order. This does not mean I don’t appreciate or love any and all threads that I am apart of, so please do not take it personally.  Replies can get delayed a great deal.   Sometimes I just can’t get to it, my inspiration is elsewhere, or we just have multiple threads together. That does not mean you need to change your reply (or that I would even know how to advise you to change it!) but if delayed replies bother you a great deal, I am likely not the blog for you. Likewise, I accept late replies by any amount, even a year!  I am sensitive to content including:   Graphic depictions of rape or child abuse. As a rape survivor myself, the “rape made this character stronger” trope also upsets me. If this is in your characters background, you don’t have to avoid mentioning it necessarily, just don’t go into graphic detail. Thank you!

Romance is chemistry-based vs planned.   If the characters hit it off, great! Let’s not force it though, eh? I am, however, open to discussing possibilities between muses.  Unrequited feelings are allowed.    If Zelda develops feelings for your muse, they aren’t obligated to feel the same way back, and vice versa.
Unrequited feelings happen and make for some nice writing material! If it in any way makes you uncomfortable, however, the subject will be dropped from all threads.
NSFW is exclusive to adult Zelda.    NSFW content is unlikely to appear, but is only available for post-BOTW or select AU verses. Both mun and muse must be 18+ and we must have an overall plot involved. I’m happy to do fade-to-black, but otherwise please place NSFW content under a Read-More.

Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule and supposedly the most recent reincarnation of the Goddess Hylia. During her time as a royal, she led the research on Ancient Sheikah Technology, proving its investment worth for funding when she was 14-years-old. Two years later, she recruited The Champions, warriors or leaders of their particular domain, chosen to pilot the Divine Beasts during the upcoming war against Calamity Ganon. As a member of the Hyrule family, Zelda was expected to have a natural inclination toward Sealing Power, but she struggled with accessing this ability for some time. She has always taken her responsibility toward her people very seriously and tends to feel inadequate, always demanding perfection of herself (and sometimes those around her). Her favorite dessert is fruitcake, which she often used to share with her white stallion, Alabaster. It was not until Calamity Ganon attacked and nearly won the war, known as the Battle of Calamity, that Zelda’s birth right powers finally awakened. What followed was The Century War, which refers to Zelda’s time holding back Calamity Ganon through her Sealing Power, though it is also referred to as the period in which she “Lived in Hylia’s Light.” During this time, she was vaguely aware of everything at once, her conception of time beyond human comprehension. More detail regarding her experience can be found below.Upon returning to Hyrule after The Century War, Zelda worked to rebuild Hyrule. She suffered the loss of her father, people, Champions, and Kingdom, but her relationship with the Goddess Hylia vastly improved.⚜️ NOTE: The following takes place during Tears of The Kingdom. Please do not continue if you do not want spoilers. ⚜️Initially, the people of Hyrule did not believe Zelda to be the Princess who supposedly died 100 years ago. She had to prove her lineage over the course of years, building relationships and trust with the people of Hyrule. After being accepted as a member of the royal family, Zelda began to lead movements to improve Hyrule’s future, such as developing construction, schools, and re-establishing outside trade. These efforts have used almost all of what was left of the royal funds, the majority of it having been raided during the Century War.During the events of Tears of The Kingdom, she was revealed to have time powers that could stop or reverse time. This power sent her to to Hyrule’s founding era, where she learned to control this ability through her mentorship with Queen Sonia, Hyrule’s first Queen. It was here that she was given the title Sage of Time. To defeat the renewed threat of Ganondorf, Zelda arranged to receive The Master Sword from her original timeline and sacrificed her humanity to become an immortal dragon, allowing the sword to grow stronger with the passage of thousands of years. She lost her sense of self during this time, but retained an emotional attachment to Hyrule and to Link, whom she defends even as a dragon. With the help of Link and the spirits of Queen Sonia and King Rauru, Zelda was able to return to her human form. She can faintly recall her time as a dragon but only as a long, foggy dream.Currently, Zelda lives in Hateno when not traveling and is the teacher at one of the schools she founded. She is continuing to rebuild Hyrule to the best of her ability with limited resources, with her main concerns being its financial stability, safety from outside threats, and ensuring a quality future for its people. In the future, she is eventually crowned as the last Queen of Hyrule. She rules for a little over 40 years while establishing a new form of government that works as an early form of democracy. After the monarch is officially disbanded, Zelda becomes an elected official and continues serving Hyrule for another decade before voluntarily stepping down. She is still referred to as “Queen Zelda” out of respect, despite the title no longer holding any power, and is often consulted by Hyrule elected officials.

The 100 years in which Zelda contained Calamity Ganon in her Sealing Power is referred to as The Century War and the period in which she “lived in Hylia’s Light.” She remained conscious during this time and experienced a type of existence beyond that of mortals which she could no more describe than replicate. It could be considered a meditative state, but even this isn’t wholly accurate, as her body itself stepped into a third-plane between the world as we know it and what exists after death. While using her power to the fullest of its ability, Zelda becomes closest with her past-self, the Goddess Hylia. This is what allows her access to The Third Plane, birthplace of the Goddesses, in which time and matter are abstracts rather than a linear structure. Due to her connection to Hylia, Zelda was able to conceptualize this change in time and events in a way she wasn’t able to before; the power to see All That Is and All That Will Be. When “trapping” Calamity Ganon, what the Princess actually did was pull what she could of him into The Third Plane, leaving his, loosely put, “body” in stasis. This stasis state is the same reason why Zelda’s body suffered no damage from time during her Century War. It’s important to remember that the rules which exist in life are not the same as that of The Third Plane’s. While life is designed to break down one’s body over time, there is no such need in the Plane where a body isn’t necessarily corporeal and time doesn’t move strictly forward.Much of Zelda’s and Calamity Ganon’s battle took place between their spirits, but occasionally, one was able to pull the other into a corporeal form. Many tense conversations took place in such moments, Zelda often retreating back to her spirit where the battled raged on.Her focus remained on keeping him trapped within The Third Plane, though much like Hylia, she was vaguely aware of everything at once. Hylia is not omnipotent and thus neither is Zelda, but through Her power she was able to view the world as the Goddesses do. The best Zelda could describe it is a structure of stars in the sky, written like words in a book. You simply know what it means. You feel it and experience it even though you aren’t truly there. It was this ability to see and know which allowed her to track the progression of the world and, more importantly, Link. It was how she knew the moment arrived when he would finally awaken. Reaching out to him in the way that she did was risky. During her moment of distraction, Calamity Ganon could have gained the upper hand and broken away from her hold— and indeed, he almost did. Upon realizing that the hero had survived, Calamity Ganon’s spirit raged and very nearly gained the upper-hand. This is why Zelda’s communication to Link was limited only to what would keep him alive. Each step he took toward fulfilling his role in their destiny gave her renewed hope and strength. After Calamity Ganon’s defeat, Zelda can no longer access The Third Plane or Hylia’s Knowledge. She does remember her Century battle and the knowledge she already obtained, but explaining it is difficult.

BEFORE THE FALL OF HYRULE (Pre-Game)This verse follows Zelda during any point in her life before she became 17 and trapped in her own Sealing Power against Ganon. This can include childhood and on. Zelda’s main goal, ever since the death of her mother, is to unlock the power of the Goddess Hylia through prayer. She has yet to succeed and finds herself often paling in comparison to Link, the counterpart of her destiny in defeating evil. As such, she harbors feelings of jealousy and bitterness toward him until much later in their relationship. She’s very respectful of the other Champions, however, particularly Urbosa. Her relationship with her father grows strained with each passing year that she does not harness her power.Read Along▲▽▲WHAT IS LOST CAN BE REBUILT (Post-Game)
Can take place directly after the games end or further into the future. Calamity Ganon has been defeated after 100 years of Zelda’s newly awakened Sealing Power keeping him at bay. The Kingdom of Hyrule is little more than ruins and Zelda’s subjects are scattered across the land. She hopes to restore Hyrule to its former glory and perhaps beyond, but knows challenges are ahead. With the help of Link, Impa, Purah, and the people of Zora, Zelda hopes to prove her lineage and reclaim the Hyrule throne. Once done, she plans to rebuild her Kingdom piece by piece. Though her powers faded shortly after Ganon’s defeat, she does not weep for its departure and hopes that she will not need call upon the Goddess Hylia ever again. The guilt of her lost kingdom, family, and friends still weights heavily on her.Read Along▲▽▲

In this verse, Zelda and Link were able to successfully retreat after the war with Calamity Ganon. After the King, Gaurdian’s, and Divine Beasts fell, it became clear that the war was lost, and they initiated their retreat plan. First was making their way to Kakariko Village. From there, they are given disguises, horses, and supplies to make their way to the Neculda Sea, where a small cargo ship awaits. They board it and sail across the sea to another country for asylum and aid.
As this verse relies on Link being there, be aware that in the case of non-Link muses, an NPC Link written by myself will be used in threads!Read Along▲▽▲MENTAL STRAIN; RINSE; REPEAT (Modern AU)

MAGIC OF SCIENCE (FMA AU)
This AU takes place within the Fullmetal Alchemist universe. Zelda is 25-years-old to account for her political involvement in a more modern era. She remains the Princess of Hyrule, a modest country that has remained somewhat disconnected from the outside world due to its neutral political stance and strict trading laws. Its varied climate has allowed it to be one of the few countries which is almost entirely self-reliant. The Sheikah Technology and the science behind it, developed in honor of Hylia and advanced for the era, is one of the country’s closet guarded secrets.
